*Who owns your heart? Pt3 (SELF)*
In previous sermons, we learned about 2 major strongholds (Materialism and Family & Relationships) that the devil attacks to prevent us from walking in the Spirit with God.
Today we take a deeper look into the 3rd stronghold – SELF. Pastor Akindoju teaches us why SELF is the most difficult stronghold to consecrate. Learn how SELF becomes our real idol when we are out of alignment with God. When the devil attacks the children of God, he systematically attacks our material things first, then he attacks our relationships and family and if unsuccessful, he goes after SELF. The devil attacks SELF last because the human need to satisfy self is so powerful, even for Christians. It’s very difficult to put ourselves last. Learn how practicing self-control and living for God, not ourselves can release the stronghold of the devil and allow us to walk in alignment with God.
