Rest has been provided to all Christians by the works of Jesus on earth. Unfortunately, not all Christians receive this rest due to a lack of faith. Some Christians are surrounded by Thanksgiving and Joy but still remain miserable because they have not been able to tap on to God’s divine rest. As Christians, we must fight the good fight of faith in order to step into the rest that was provided for us.
Today, we will assess why it is essential to labor to enter His rest. Pastor Kunle Akindoju teaches about what it means to be faithful; and he outlines three essential things we must do to find rest through faith. Assess the differences between faith and hope using analogous stories of two people in the Bible – the prodigal son and the woman with the issue of blood – who were able to achieve rest by being faithful.
