Last time, we discussed that God calls Christians to hold two offices, “Kings and Priests”, which often have conflicting responsibilities. However, as Christians, we must learn how to uphold both roles in harmony. We can successfully execute our role as Kings and still fail as Priests because while ruling and defending our kingdom, we are likely to displease God. The Priest in us constraints the King in us. Therefore, if we are not controlled by the Priest in us, the King in us will fail.
