In order for us to reach our full potential in life, we must know how things work. The goals we set in life give us direction, and the fuel that carries us in that direction is Hope. In order to maintain Hope, our hope must be fueled, not by happiness but by Joy. As we grow in Christ our short-lived day-to-day happiness in transformed into the Joy of the Lord and it is only this joy that will enable us to withstand the ups and downs of our journey through life.
